Terms of Service

The terms that govern using DayO Book.

Last updated August 22, 2026.

Acceptance

By creating a DayO Book account or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you're using DayO Book on behalf of a business, you're agreeing on that business's behalf and confirming you have authority to do so.

The service

DayO Book is a scheduling platform: a hosted and embeddable booking widget, a calendar and bookings dashboard, automated emails, and related tools described on our Product page. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at the contact below if you suspect unauthorized use. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use DayO Book to:

  • Violate any applicable law, including anti-spam and data protection law
  • Send unsolicited bulk email in a way that violates applicable law or the acceptable-use policies of the email providers involved
  • Collect or store customer data you don't have a legitimate basis to collect
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, attempt to bypass its security, or access another account or business's data without authorization
  • Use the service to build a competing product by systematically extracting its data or functionality

Any built-in marketing or outreach tools are meant for reaching your own existing customers or your own researched, legitimate business contacts — not for purchased or indiscriminately scraped contact lists.

Billing

DayO Book is billed per successful booking at the rate shown on your account — see Pricing for current details. Cancelling a booking before its scheduled start time is never billed; a booking cancelled after its start time remains billable, since the slot was already held. Price changes apply only from your next billing cycle onward and never retroactively. Payment is collected through Stripe once a payment method is on file; invoices and usage are visible in your account's Billing & Usage page at all times.

Your customers' data

As a business owner, the booking data your customers submit through your DayO Book widget is yours to manage — you're responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for complying with applicable privacy law toward your own customers. DayO Book processes this data on your behalf to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Google integrations

Connecting Google Calendar or Gmail is optional and requires your explicit consent through Google's own sign-in flow. You can disconnect either at any time from within DayO Book, which immediately revokes our access and removes the associated tokens and cached data. See Google user data in our Privacy Policy for what's accessed and how it's used.

Intellectual property

DayO Book and its content, features, and functionality belong to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You retain ownership of the data you and your customers put into the service. You grant us the limited right to use that data solely to provide and improve the service to you.

Termination

You can delete a business or stop using DayO Book at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections of these terms that by their nature should survive (like billing for usage already incurred) will continue to apply.

Disclaimers & liability

DayO Book is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DayO Book won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above; continued use of DayO Book after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which DayO Book operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
