Review and edit

Nothing is sent until you read it, change it if you like, and press send.

You should not have to switch tools to see your business clearly.

The tool you book in is the backbone of your business. Moving it is a big, risky project, and most owners will not do it just for a better view of their numbers. So do not. Leave it exactly as it is.

How it works

1

Upload an export

Export your customers and appointments from your booking tool as a CSV or Excel file. We match the columns for you and show you everything before any of it is added.

2

See the whole picture

Revenue, visits, new and returning customers, no-shows, and who has gone quiet, each one compared with the period before.

3

Act on it

Pulse points out what could move your numbers and drafts the emails. You read them, change them, and press send.

Not just numbers. The next move.

Every lever comes from your own customers and visits. A dollar figure is either money that is at stake, or a scenario worked out from your own averages. Pulse never promises a forecast.

When a lever points at a group of customers, Pulse drafts the email and tells you exactly how many people it reaches. You stay in charge of the last step.

  • You decide what goes out
Nothing is sent until you press send, or until you switch an automatic email on yourself.
  • Your name and your address
Every email carries your business address and a working unsubscribe. Anyone who unsubscribes, complains or bounces for good is never emailed again.
  • A good sender from day one
New senders start with a low daily limit and build up, so your emails keep landing in inboxes instead of spam.
  • Honest about your data
Pulse shows how current your numbers are. If your data gets stale, automatic emails pause until you refresh it.

Built for businesses that book appointments

If customers book with you in another tool and come back again and again, Pulse can tell you something useful about them. See what else DayO Book does.

Questions

Do I have to stop using my booking tool?

No. That is the whole idea. Keep booking, taking payments and running your day exactly as you do now. Pulse only needs an export from it.

What can I upload?

CSV or Excel files of your customers, your pets or clients, and your appointments. Past and upcoming appointments both work. You can upload one file or all three.

How current are the numbers?

As current as your last upload. You can refresh as often as you like, and a refresh updates visits you already uploaded, such as one that was later cancelled. Pulse always shows the date your data runs through.

Will it email my customers on its own?

Only if you turn it on. Automatic emails start switched off, you choose each one, and you can pause them at any time. Campaigns are always yours to review and send.

What about my customers' privacy?

You confirm that the people you upload are your own customers. They can unsubscribe from any email with one click, and you can undo an upload whenever you want.

What does it cost?

Free while we pilot it. When there is a price, we will tell you before you pay anything. There is no contract.
